Character: Kefka Palazzo
Series: Final Fantasy VI
Version: Right before becoming imbued with the Warring Triad statues’ power.
Age: 35
Gender: Male
Sexuality: The only reason Kefka would get together with someone is to kill them or to use them in a plan. So… I guess… Destruction/worlddominationsexual?
Appearance: Kefka has a very flamboyant style about him. He’s dressed in layer after layer of colorful, clownish clothing, mainly in the color green. His blond hair is pulled back in a tight, neat bun on the back of his head, adorned with a variety of brightly colored beads and a large, iridescent feather. Kefka’s face is painted white with red designs around his eyes, which are a dull blue-grey.

Personality: To say “Kefka is not a pleasant man” would be an understatement. He is an insane, sadistic, cruel, manipulative man with no conscience. He would—and has—poisoned an entire city’s water supply in order to win a battle. Kefka is a master manipulator, able to turn a situation to his favor quickly and usually pull others down in the process. However, if given the opportunity, he is quick to resort to threats of violence. When not catering to others, Kefka speaks derisively and sarcastically.

Abilities/Weaponry: Kefka is a rather talented black mage, only unable to cast a handful of the most powerful ones. His magic power, however, has been weakened somewhat with his entrance into Paixao. Kefka can also cast illusions to make himself look like other people.

Weaknesses: Kefka knows no healing or defensive spells, believing the best defense to be a good offense. He also carries no physical weapon, believing his magic to be enough. His movement is also hindered by his clothing. Beyond all that, however, he is a coward, and will run the second things get too heated for his liking, unless he is sure he can turn things around.

History: Kefka was one of the first subjects involved in Magitek’s infusion experiments. He gained the ability to use magic, but since the process was still in the experimental stages, it drove him insane. He only desired power and would do anything to achieve it, a plan forming in his mind to use the Emperor Gestahl’s own hunger for power against him.

Kefka’s skill and control of magic quickly brought him up in the ranks of the Empire’s army. He soon became the right-hand man of Emperor Gestahl, something Kefka didn’t take for granted. When Terra came into the hands of Magitek, Kefka was put in charge of her, and eventually orchestrated her escape from the Empire in order to lead him to the Gate of the Espers (or so he claims, considering the source, this may not be entirely true).

Kefka went along with Emperor Gestahl’s world-conquering plans until they revived the Floating Continent and reached the Warring Triad statues. The Returners, a group of people working to take down the Empire whom Kefka had encountered a few times previously, came to the scene to confront the two men, but Kefka’s plan was already in its final stages.

Gestahl, fearing what would happen should the statues be messed with tried to kill Kefka, but the statues blocked his magic and Kefka ordered them to attack Gestahl. The emperor’s body was kicked off of the continent afterwards. Had Kefka been given a minute more, he would’ve moved the Warring Triad statues and changed the world, eventually taking control of it, having gained their power. Instead, he found himself in front of a gate to a city in a strange, new world that he immediately hated.
